i had a pleasant stay at Alor Holiday Resort. the room was spacious with a sitting area and a kitchen corner, although the fridge was not very efficient. the bed was cozy, and the restaurant served delicious food. there was attentive service, with the chef even checking if i enjoyed the meal. the internet connection was reliable both in the room and at the reception. the location was convenient, just a short walk to the beach.

Everything was delightful! 😊.

The location and rooms were good, but there was a lack of service and no real atmosphere.

Its Location. 10 min walk to calangute beach. Thats it. Everything else is pathetic.

Everything else besides location was sub-standard in this hotel including staff. Broken tiles welcomes u to the room, pathetic bedding and blanket looks like if they have given us borrowing from some begger. Washroom was not clean, also no jet. Twice I called housekeeping for blanket and they were not bothered. Reception guys were not welcoming and on christmas day, they were charging 1200 inr per head for gala dinner which they said was compulsary. So, we disappointedly checked out of that hotel. I can only write 300 words here, otherwise there are much more to say.

My room was large, in fact it was 4 rooms bedroom, living, kitchen and bathroom. It was kept clean by the very polite staff.

It is a bit in the middle of nowhere nowhere near the beach. Dont come over Christmas or new year as the price goes through the roof. In fact if your coming for a relaxing quite time dont come at all as Calangute is a festering dump.
